Ok, first of all, i am feeling ok, so no worries.
Second, explanation.. Check this photo i made https://prnt.sc/ofyhcy
Sonic IDW #3. Right side is the original english version. Left one is the translation done by a spanish publishing company called "ECC Ediciones".
Right side can be clearly understood, right?.. With the "jokes" and "references"... Well, left side says , careful... "<b>Tangles' tangles</b> and Blaze's glorious return!"
.....Can ya figure out where's the MAIN issue?... "Tangles' tangles"...Tangle The Lemur being called "Tangles".. No, she has 1 tail. No, she's not called like TailS...Well, ya get what ya mean.. 2nd but not so important issue is that the "Word play" for "jokes/refs/suggestions" thingy is the Blaze part, but again it's not that important
Seems the new gals (And some fans) didn't liked that and wanted to make things clear about it.. Traaaanslation time
Tangle: "My name's TANGLE!!. It doesn't have an S!!"
Whisper: "And to prevent future issues/problems, mine's Whisper..Not Whispers nor "Whisper" (The low voice talking)"
Tangle: "Please, ¡respect our names!. In case that you have to adapt references (ya know what i mean) ,so kids can understand it, there's always the option of putting a "Translator's Note" and check the story from future comic issues (Number, not problems, to foresee what might happen and edit stuff before failing so hard)

Pfft ya don't seem to get what this is about, right?..If something you really liked got a name change for the wrong, disrespecting the official name etc then you should feel ashamed of it and would want it to get corrected at that moment or for upcoming events, right?..

yea it would offend me to the max as i would rather have people to keep the original name and such if numbskulls do that for no reason

i gotta agree with DV on this, sega has been known for making names that were supoosed to be correct, though i don't know the reasons for whispers name but tangle i can kinda understand because aside using her tail to beat up enemies it can be quite the issue sometimes like being wrapped around your own tail which pulls off a small comedic spin of play own words
