I drew this whimsical cartoon picture to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the Moon Landing by American astronauts on Apollo 11 on July of 1969. This astronaut in the picture is a wolf due to the cultural and mythical links of canines, wolves and werewolves to the Moon.

Yeah, It's amazing what we had accomplished. It would be nice if we could do something like that at least once again. having to have people visit the moon again or maybe visit another world if possible. I never got to see the Moon landing at first hand myself though since it occurred before I was born. It mast have been amazing and I wonder what it was like being up there. It must have been not easy to travel through space in contrast to what we see in science fiction.
It was remarkable that The Moon was recently in it's Full Moon phase while the 59th Anniversary occurred

I think you mean the 50th anniversary! You wrote 59. Anyway, yes, I recently rewatched Apollo 13 and that shows you just what a supreme effort it took by thousands to make the Moon missions a reality, and to rescue the crew when disaster happened. Houston certainly had more than just a problem then.
