The final sketch from Midwest Furfest 2009 ~ There were a few more sketches done this year that I did not get scans of, if I can obtain them, I'll upload them. I have been uploading the art in trickles so as to not overwhelm FA.
This is
shadowcatcher's red panda, who I'm told is a storm goddess? He has some stunningly beautiful art of her (and some hilariously funny sketches) and I wanted to do something playful and happy. Unfortunately the gusts of wind don't show up as well as I'd like, and there are a few other things I'd tweak if I could. Ah well. Next time. :)

Heehee, Windy's one of the offspring of Kokopelli (except the jogauni version, that's a separate and mortal 'instance' of the character), so she's basically of a young generation of native american spirits -- and the aspect she embodies is weather, storms in particular. I've always had an interest in violent weather and Windy sort of personifies that. =)
In all honesty, I'm just happy folks aren't upset when I mangle (or forget) their character's names. >.>
I really admire people that come up with complex backstories for their characters. I don't tend to do that for my crew, and I think sometimes that they could be more... robust.. if I did. Ah well. I really like your two. :D
