I didn’t realize that insect was there until after I downloaded this photo to my computer. Camera hog!

These flowers grow at the corner of my house. I have no idea what species they might be, but thought they made a nice subject for my new macro lens.

After a little research, I'd be tempted to say that they are evening primroses, though I couldn't specify which kind exactly (maybe oneothera grandis?). Whatever it may be, it looks beautiful! ^__^

I kind of think it might be a Stella de Oro Daylily (Hemerocallis) or some other type of lily given the petal count...

I think that flower is that bug's home :)
It's a nice flower, some type of orchid? I'm not good with plants.
