Sally was engaged to marry Sonic, all objections were cleared away, and the wedding date practically set! Sonic to be king when Maximillian passed on.

They had a public quarrel over whether Sonic should retire from fighting Robotnik II -and Sally dumped Sonic.
That was but one reason I dumped Sonic comics.

GlitchSamo21: Guess again. Sally was also in Sonic CD, for the Sega CD system. I always thought that Tails and Amy would have made a cute couple, since they were bothe hardcore fans of Sonic and around the same age. But Amy took it a bit too far and went from devoted fan, to fanatical stalker and offically creeped Sonic out, in the games. He even showed fear and tended to avoid her, like the plague.
On a similar note, Ive always thougth that in the Street Fighter franchise, Ryu and Sakura would make good couple, but canon-wise, I don't think she feels that way about him, to her, he's just a role model for her to look up to. Its a pity, really... She's really tomboyishly cute and has hot little body, and Isn't tied down by career and responsibility, like Chun Li is, which also would make her more available as a traveling companion, and she would clearly stick to him,come what may, and even support him through his Evil Ryu episodes, which would also give plenty of opportunity to blossom into romance, which might even keep Ryu in check... But, I guess its just not in their profiles ad although I really like their pairing in hentai, I guess the only way that will actually happen in canon, will be if one of them dreams it and once they wake, that'lbe all it was, just a meaningless dream.
Similarly, I feel that's How Amy should be, her pursuit of Sonic is CREEPY, if you think about it. These games are made with the intent of being played by CHILDREN, and the only thing that Amy's obsessed and possessive behavior is that it's ok to relentlessly pursue adults that they get crushes on and attack anybody they see as rivals for their affection... Which will get the adults arrested if they reciprocate, registered as sex offenders, and permanently ruin their lives.
