This could be read two ways. The first Bloodspill killed someone Swift knew and this is "justice" or since the three of the wolves are in need of sustenance, Bloodspill'sl life would give life to another.
Personally I think the latter is too "circle of life" so I'm going to go with that Swift lost someone very close to her.
