Well, at least Cookie eventually tried to get Muko taken away for medical attention. But Muko chose to stay put so she could still watch the match. There's no excuse for Shun to leave Nyarai alone.

Hmm i think something not quite rght with Nyarai. Physically i mean, seem the damage she suffered was more serious than expected, but more importantly, Cookie was RIGHT about Shun. This guy does not fuck around and definitely has not the best interest of his girls in mind.

I do remember Cookie chewing Nyarai out over how bad and dangerous it would be to work with Shun while the cheetah was fighting Muko. More foreshadowing. I never thought it would happen lie this so too soon.

And , just for the last highlight, that Shun is a dark mirror image of Cookie as Nyarai was a dark mirror image of Muko. While Cookie could have let her obsessive dreams make her ignore the well being of her Combagals she realized her mistakes and she feel guilty about it, she did nto mean harm. Shun on the other hand, does not care as much for his combagals and he do on purpose. Nyarai was just an useful pawn, mostly because he needed someone Cookie did not know to infiltrate and manipulate her actions(seriously why, Shun literally hate Cookie on crazy level - if Daigajin make a 4koma about FFC would be fun to see the usual cool Shun secretly choking Cookie plushies before goign to sleep) and this kind of make Nyarai a tragic character in her own way. She could be a savage and little bit arrogant but It hink she also been more than tricked and misguided on some points.

Still so satisfying to see her taken down that easily and humiliatingly.

Oh, no! Look, don't get me wrong. I am still agsints Nyarai for everything she did to Muko and Cookie. I supported Adel for stopping her. Nyara is still a horrible person and a terrifying vilianess.

But, good greif, no! she fainted and her fellow combagal, the cow Moohoshi, is acting like it's dead serious. Sure, Nyarai did this stupidly to herself still. She got her nose broke for not being careful of how to fight someone much larger and more powerful than her.

But Shun does not care about her. He's much rather watch the fight than get medical attention for one of his combaals. What a scummy cold villain he is.

I like this of Dai, he manage to always play things insuch way that our emotional response is on a rollercoaster. Nyarai isa villainess? Yes. But does she deserve to be let bleed unconsciously with such coldness? Not much, albeit is a sort of karmic backlash and proof that Cookie was damn right about Shun not being the person Nyarai think he is. (How he managed to get the Crushers on his side is still one of the pivotal mistery of FFC)
Also Mooohoshi is on good position to become another favorite character.

Yeah, Moohoshi.... she is beginning to grow on me as a character as well. She is joining my roster of favorite FFC characters alongside Muko and my shining heroine Adel. It's sweet how she cares for Nyarai like a sister. It would be col to learn more about the relationship between them and the other Cyclone Crushers. there seems to be some sort of unofficial "sisterhood" going on through them.

No doubt Cookie was right about Shun being a terrible and dangerous person to be around with. Which again raise the question of why Nyarai joined him in the first place. And as you pointed out, why her Cyclone Crusher teammates signed up to this jerk as well. Particularly girls like this wonderful MoohoshI, who seems too good to be with a miserable crime lord like Shun.

So yeah, Nayrai was a cruel, sadistic, bloodlusting violent, backstabbing self-cantered, overestimating girl who deserved what she got from Adel. It was awesome justice for Adel to have victory over this no-good kitty for what she did to her, Cookie and Muko. She deserved greatly for beating Muko badly to near death, bother Cookie's mind and soul, treated Adelas a chump and ruining her own self for thinking she can just beat up anybody she wants. And yet, there as a part of of me is sorry about Nyarai suffering badly from her injury as i am sorry for Muko's injuries. It's weird, but somehow, for some reason, I do not want her to be badly hurt in a way that would ruin her forever, whatever the same with Muko.

If you look back at his introduction in the comic, he comes off as very kind and considerate towards Nyarai. A skilled sociopath knows how to get under his victim's skin with sweet words. Now, remember how Nyarai said that her kind (the "wilds") is being prejudiced against by the common populace...and here comes her "savior" Shun, who supports her, gives her a well-paid job, makes sure she's treated well by the customers (only letting her deal with the situation when he's sure a peaceful resolution is impossible, like that hippo jerk), and gives her an opportunity to make her debut in the Combagals tournament. It was like hanging a big juicy bait right in front of her nose, and she was too obssessed with getting her opportunity at better life to actually consider if there's any ulterior motive behind Shun's actions. I would not be surprised if he used the same method to get the rest of the Crushers to his side.

Love how Moohoshi immediately comes to Nyarai's rescue and is crying tears of concern for her friend's condition. Even the pony Combagal is concerned, showing that there is a friendship or even familiar bond between the Cyclone Crushers. On the other hand, Shun shows that he's deserving of his villain reputation by ignoring Nyarai's injury and caring more about the progress of the match. It's kind of heartless considering that Nyarai wasted a lot of her time getting him the recording for that golden opportunity. It really shows that Cookie, for all her flaws, was right about Shun not being a good person to have as a manager.

And let's not forget that aside of recording the stripclub meeting, Nyarai went further to join his comagal team and betray Cookie. Then she help Shun crush Cookie by psychologically breaking her down and beat Cookie's one loyal combagal into a hurt sobbing broken mess. And what does she get for serving him? He leaves her with a needing broken snout with no medical attention, he showed no concern nor wory whatsoever about her state of condition, not even any anger over what happened to her, Not even a tear shed over her! This guy cares for no one, not even for his girls! He promised NYarai that this nigth in the arena would her her time to shine. But she lost a fight against Adel and got a broken nose, adn fainted in severe need for treatment. And he doesn't care! But what do you expet from a Yakuza type crime boss? Sure, Nyarai may have been no angel, either. But she still should get herself and nose checked and treated.

And yeah, the way Moohoshi and the combagal pony are reacting to Nyarai's injury does show a little something about what the Cyclone Chrushers are like and their realtionship to the cheetah. You are right.

I think the recording and her joingint he Cookie team was all aprt of Shun plan to start with. Think about it. Nayrai was an unknown, and Shun need a new face to infiltrate Cookie, since she does know all the Cyclone Crushers. He promised to solve her "problem" - another mistery in FFC - and allowed her to work at his club and join the cyclone crushers even if she had not professional experience - but some combat experience and skills - he seemed to her a "good" manager and she was convinced on how Cookie was "bad" and deserved that(again Nyarai has no reason to hate personally Cookie unless Shun just pushed her in that way). It was Shun that probably snet Kalita to mug Muko's working place and sent the photos to only gossip news, it was Shun that through Nyarai pushed Cookie to get a match as soon as possible, forcing the squirrel hand, and rpobably Shun KNEW exactly what eventually Cookie would resort to ensure a relatively safe match- heck i won't exclude he secretely "bought" her loans so she is in debt with HIM . Nyarai was savage, cruel and arrogant, but she was just a pawn in crazy schem Shun cooked to fuck up Cookies life!!!

Oh, her. Everyone else was calling her Moohoshi so i was confused.
Anyway, she does seem to be a nice sweet character and she and that pony rushing to Nyarai's side with the cow. they seem to crack open a window into what the Cyclone Crushers might be like, in contrast to their cruel ass bastard of a manger. Frankly I don't know for sure how her role in the story would go in relation with Muko and Cookie, though. Things are too early to speculate on such things.
