A commission for my "Heron Dance" Image on a custom shield. I made the shield myself, it's on the high end of sizes I can make right now, at 18" in diameter. I will move this over to my scraps area, since I already have the drum here, in a few days.

These shields have a surprisingly good tone to them, which I found out by accident, and actually would work well as flat hand-drums. They aren't very loud, but are very deep and rythmic. Good for traveling, too, because they are so flat!
