My first summer vacation project. Finally I have time to draw again, and I‘m eager to take good use of it! Since I was always fascinated by mermen, I wanted to draw a rubberised one. Also, since last month was pride month (and I didn‘t have any time to draw back then because of my school) I gave him a pride flag like look.

When Silas‘ companions split up into four groups to claim the twelve Celestial Weapons, Shī Keishin, the priest from Sennotena, travels to the territory of Kraino tribe. Deep under the surface of the Áspri Thálassa (White Sea) between Thivathes, Aboratium and Tarkisantes, he discovers the sunken city Thaln tar Sys, where the Fish Aspergilium is hidden.
Yuna is the cities prince and the Asterisk of Water and Wind, making him the guardian of the Celestial Weapon. As a personification of an aspect of one of the twelve Primordial Beasts, the Storm Flood Fish Ichkes, like the other Asterisks, he bears massive amounts of Manyu, making his body overflow with magic and producing the patterns glowing in all spectral colours on his skin (which, of course, as with all divinities in my novel, is completely made of arboreal tears a.k.a. totally-not-rubber™).
For centuries he‘s been weeping for his sister Yamulana, whose fate Keishin has to reveal to convince Yuna to entrust the sacred heritage of his people to him.
