a crossbower (or crossbowist? whatever) lizard person would make a very effective sniper! I imagine it'd be easy for them to ambush people while clinging to the wall over doorways, or flattening their bodies to hide underneath the leaf litter along the side of the road. They've just got a lot of potential for a sneaky type of character!
