This was originally meant to be a really simple project, to be finished in a week.
It actually took me way longer than that, but I'm happy with how it turned out.
I wanted simple, solid colors, and smooth happy movements, and I think it turned out as such. This is just a silly little animation with people from FA dancing.
I enjoyed making it, and I hope you can enjoy watching it. :)
Cast, in order of appearance:
Mook - mook280
Sandy - sandypants
Pyro - Pyro-Nezbit
Sixel - Sixel
Pie - technicolor_pie
Relaxing Dragon - RelaxingDragon1
Prisa - Ishi
Maggie - SeaweedPrincess
Abighaile - Abighaile
Lulu - Lulufoxywho
Thanks for letting me make you dance! :D

After watching the video again (I still call it up from time to time; good song, great anim) I realized why you're claiming it tool longer to decide the colors for the paint splashes then for creating the splashes:
They're all the same splash, rotated, resized, stretched, wiped in, wiped out, but they're all the same splash.
Granted, it took me something like ten viewings to spot this (those dancers are so delightfully distracting), but I found it. Clasic animators secret; don't draw the same image over and over if you don't have to.

No shame in that, it's a background, it's not supposed to draw attention to itself, and cloning the same splash for every background helps to create the right balance of interesting and boring to highlight the principal actors properly.
(Especially for Maggie, that cat has STYLE.)

I love this a lot! It introduced me to a great TMBG song I didn't know, haha. I liked how Mook started out looking all shy and gradually danced more as the animation went on. It's a lot of fun to watch.
Earlier tonight I saw an animation on youtube set to the same song, but it was crazy with vampires for no reason and I like yours a lot better.
