Actually, seeing it again, it kinda looks like a human heart with legs...and, well, the humanoid torso. A cardioarachnid!

Awh, man! There's still some left? My monitor is so old and dark I don't always spot them spots myself. I added some contrast with levels afterwards in hopes of correcting this, but 'twas all in vain... @_@

If he indeed is poisonous, I hope that his poison is not lethal, just something that would cause mild heartburn or nausea... I find it hard to take my monsters all that seriously. =P

I've never been much good at drawing monsters that are 100% ferocious and nasty. Either they come out looking sadly cute-ish or they have a weak ego and wobbly knees... =P

Oh that's awesome! It's funny I'm phobic of most arachnids, but I like stuff like this (and pet tarantulas, go figere)... and I have my own spider-guy character. I should really draw him some time, you've certainly inspired me to. ^_^
