Adel was allowed to tag in for Muko, which would seem to mean the team swap is official. With those refs though who knows. Could be a "heads I win, tails you lose" situation when it comes to what teams are treated as valid.

This match had been more bloody than expected, first Muko and now, as i said in parallel, Nyarai, but something tell me that the bloodfest had just begun...

I myself have predicted that things would get unpleasant and involve terrible levels of violence. Perhaps some serious bleeding among the girls. I was right. Though I was surprised that Nyarai herself would get badly hurt from all this.

Actually i think IS the case. Nyarai perhaps is good example of big fish in small pond, she is skilled and strong, for sure, but she never really faced a challenge till now, she never really got to deal with soemone more experienced and skilled than her. (And i love to pinpoint this times and times, but is parallel how Muko never really got in any difficult task till now). So yeah this is probably the first time she had been hurt in such way. Infact notice it is when she see the blood that she tremble and change her attitude. Like Muko she is learning that Combagal sport is much more than they thtought it was.

She can dish out the hurt, as seen when she viciously and gleefully beat Muko into a pulp, but she sure as hell can't take it. She's a definition of glass cannon.

Also, Nyarai is in bad shape from a sever injury that is making her bleed through her nose a lot, due to her confrontation with Adel. Much like how moments ago Nyarai herself managed to break and pulverize Muko to the point the bunny got a tremendously bleeding forehead and crying in defeat.

Also as noted before on the last page, the technique of Adel quickly bashing Nyarai with her kness is similarly reminiscent of her introduction chapter when she quickly kicked that groping hippo clear out Shun's nightclub. While this isn't perahps the last we would see of the backstabber, it's weird how many things have come full circle for her defeat to The Major.

I hate to say this, but she did this to herself. She was overconfident and bit off more than she could chew.

Not to be that guy but you cant pass out from broken nose based blood loss,In fact passing out from a broken nose either means the person has no pain threshold whatsoever or worse is the sign or a severe head/brain injury.Still this kind of hammers home that neither of Cookies wrestlers were ready for this kind of thing-I guess Nyarai and Muko have even more in common than I thought.

Frankly, I am amazed that Nyarai is loosing a lot of blood out of her nose. I had suffered from some nosebleeds myself and I have never quite had a lot of blood come out of e like that. However none of my nosebleeds were the result of getting my face smashed into something hard and solid.

Broken noses do bleed surprisingly heavily but yeah its not a level of blood loss thats gonna knock someone out.Im guessing youve never had a full on break thats needed the nose resetting?

Indeed. I never had my nose broken like Nyarai. has. So my face has often been fine.

As much as I am happy for Adel's victory over her, I on the other hand wonder what having one's nose broken is like and what are its after effects?

Well not all broken noses need treatment though if you dont want it to be crooked after it would need to be set at the very least.As for what its like the instant effects are of course instant extreme pain round the area in general,Difficulty breathing(the nasal passage can be blocked making this worse) and a nasty amount of blood streaming from your nose.Huh I kind of wonder of Nyarai will wind up with "Panda eyes" by the next day,So far Ive never seen someone whos had their nose broken not wind up with two black eyes because of it.

Considering she got a knee to the snout while coming at Adel at top speed its possible she could have complications or maybe even be in need of an xray but as a rule these things are at the extreme end of things and pretty rare so I doubt shed need corrective surgery for breathing or the like.I hope this helped some,Im not a medical scholar or anything and most of my knowledge is partly personal and from boxing in general =).

Yeah, I agree that Adel was so glorious and impressive, even with a simple fighting move. As for Nyarai, yeah, I do at least hope that she at least could learn something from her own crushing moment. Muko is changing for the better from everything she get from her experiences at this match.

it will take a HUGE DEFEAT to make her even consider change...maybe muko on a rematch? that would be the ultimate lesson in humilty. but....it all depends on the writer.

yeah. again. nyarai is a great antagonist character. a real threat..she is basically crazy, for whatever reasons. she is coockoo for cocoa puffs. but, her ways will simply lead to her demise. villains have only two options, redemption, or death.

ok....not death....i am sure the writer wont go digimon tri here....but, yeah. nyarai is an unlikeable character, because she is well developed as an antagonist, we are supposed to hate her, or even feel pity for her....this colossal upcoming defeat will give us a reason to pity her, whatever she does after that....will make us hate her or still hope she can change.

that's the best kind of villains, the ones you secretly hope accept redemption and repent for their evil deeds. or....the ones that embrace their evil ways beyond salvation.

I agree that she is great at being an evil antagonist. She was great at being crazy, psycho and ruthless. But it is also great how Adel defeated her, and how she loss and her broken bleeding nose is going to effect her still, and still effect her long after perhaps. She is now in the first time of this comic in fear, deep physical pain, having a loss of ego and dignity.

Yeah, That is possible. She is suffering the same problem she gave Muko earlier, but She is evil and may not change unlike Muko, who is our protagonist.

amazing work here.....love how you "desexyfied" the cat girl here, to show her fear and despair, she left sexyness behind, the angular and broken shapes her body makes. the slim and curvyness of her body twisted angular, boney hips and almost skeletical thinness. very sutile, but, once you notice it, you realize the girl is scared, therefore, she is not sexy anymore, she is dominated by fear....these are the little details that make a comic good. kudos.

also, there's no way the fight can continue with the way her nose is bleeding. so yeah....this match is over. no matter how bribed the referees are. that money, is lost.

As a fan of classic animation, I too approve of the sort of off- model expression to emphasise how Nyarai in shock, shame and pain in reaction to her bloody broken nose in this moment. It helps that, along with the change in body language and facial expression, she is running away from Adelgund, making no further effort to attack the big dog.

Adel is my new heroine by the way.

I agree with what Diagiain did. He made Nyarai act like a totally different person in reaction to her broken bleeding nose.

Damn, this is the shortest fight in the comic. Shows how much of a powerhouse Adelgund is. It is kind of satisfying to see Nyarai retreating after seeing her mistreat Cookie and Muko throughout her appearances, especially with how she terrorized Muko unfairly during their one sided fight. Also, when the crowd is jeering at her after the knee strike, one of them calls her a fucking wild, which is the only insult that feels out of place as it would have been used on any other wild character regardless of their allegiance. I can't help but think that the whole wild thing will play an important role in this story, even with characters not affiliated with Shun and the Cyclone Crushers.

The "Fucking wild" insult has more to do with an underlying tone of general "racism" directed toward species from non-domesticated species. If Nyarai was a house cat rather and a Leopard or Cheetah (I'm not clear on that) that insult would not have been thrown out. Wilds are likely seen as less intelligent or far less in control of themselves.

that said being called a "Wild", particularly with derision, is similar to the "N-word".

Adelgund being a professional, with a capital "P", may have let such and insult go by with out a second thought. However I believe she was said to be a Hyena, which would make her a Wild. Either that or she is a very big dog, like a Mastiff, or a very atypically large German Shepard, maybe.

Adel is a German Shepard, while I believe Nyarai is a cheetah.

It would be interesting to look into more abouit this sort of racism with the "wild" furries in the world although I do understand it isn't whole plot of the comic.

This seems to be a bit anticlimactic in my eyes. I was expecting a much longer fight with the two. Never really been a fan of one shots in fights like this. Regardless if its by a heroic character or an evil one.
