I am in desperate need of an updated character reference sheet, so here is my rough draft. I'll eventually put a color key in, and then I'm going to print it out on sticker paper and put it on the first page of my new con sketchbook.

stripes up the wing arms? nice idea. hm, you look concerned there.

i would do one or another griffon myself if i were better at drawing birds.

Yeah, the idea is that the feathers on the outer coverts are the same color as the rest of the body. Sometimes I draw them with stripes, sometimes without. Depends on my mood and the cycle of Caly's molt, I suppose. :P
