Protogen Defense Force Sharpshooters prefer to hang back from the rest of the fireteams in opperations where such a range is applicable. Their long distance LOS/Satellite transceiver pack is necessary for coordinating strike on the field of battle with the Lieutenants. Their non-uniform face mask enhances depth perception and accuracy, an essential trait for any marksman. Many different rifles are available to Sharpshooters, depending on hte istuaion. She is equiped with a mid-range bolt action anti-personnel rifle ideal for areas where cover can easily conceal the operative between shots, such as forests or jungles. Shorter, semi-auto rifles are used for inner city responses and and larger, high-caliber anti-vehicle rifle is utilized in wide open areas, like deserts or grasslands.
