Yeah, Nyarai was being predictable in her approach to trying to lift Adel off the ground. rather ironic that Adel used the same leg Nyarai was aiming for. that smashing to the snout has to result in some bleeding through the nose anytime soon.

That what i was saying. Nyarai has talent and a vicious spirit, but she is arrogant i thinking everyone is much less than they give. Adelgund is an experienced combagal, and as one of her assistant said she was going easy on Muko because she was a noob and she kind of liked her(perhaps she see soemthing of her young self in our lil perv bunny). But with Nyarai? She is going to show how much more different an experienced opponent that know how to fight and do not hold back is.
As i said this si Nyarai lesson. Muko learned that Combagals fights are more than sexual groping, and Nyarai will learn that being arrogant will only lead to ruin in this field.

This is amazing! This is the first time Nyarai fight against someone and lost soundly. her snout got smashed against Adel's leg as it she ran it into a cement wall. Extra points to Diagiajin for making the second panel drawn beautifully in close-up, detailed, and seem like slow.motion.

It's rather surprising that she would even think of doing such a thing in the first place, considering that Adel is bigger and heavier than she is.

Which makes me think Nyarai is not as experienced fighter as she makes herself look like. She's vicious and fast, but apparently not quite fit to deal with stonewall-type opponents like Adelgund.

I think that in the end Nyarai suffers a little from the same flaws of Muko, oddly enough. She overestimated her skill, she did not have enough experience(she fought only opponent way below her level), and completely misunderstod the Combagals sport/job.
And now Adelgund had to teach her a thing or two, like again she did with Muko...because much like Muko Nyarai dont get things unless she , in this case literally, smash her muzzle into it.
Seriously this comic is filled with metaphorically parallele between everyone.

yeah, you are right that Muko and Nyarai were similar that they had screwed up ideas of what combagal fighting is. Muko originally used to think the sport was nothing but an esay game of sexual groping Nyarai has been haughty (as you say arrogant) and over the top violent.

not lift as in like a body slam. Probably a leg takedown of sorts to make her vulnerable. Except Nyarai's approach was way too forward. Granted, she probably relied on her speed, but as Adelgund said, that's not exactly a novel tactic against a heavyweight. It makes SENSE given the difference in weight, but it's one of the most obvious plays - she shouldn't have just gone for it.

I don't think she was trying to lift her off her feet but rather remove her footing from the floor. Adel is like a massive redwood standing in the ring and as long as she's got her feet firmly planted on the mat it almost like roots in the ground.

Adel may have landed the first blow but now she only has one foot planted and with how quick Nyarai has shown to be, if she can recover fast enough I can see her swinging a leg around to take out the other leg and bring this mountain of a fighter crashing down to the mat. No matter how big she is, all Nayrai has to do is cut her down to her level and it could be all over in moments

Funny thing is that when Nyarai is introduced outside the ring she uses one leg to kick a hippo who outweighs her out of a building yet once she's in the ring a Combagal with more experience smashes her face with one leg for being a bitch. Talk about full circle.
