This character is going to be my Discord server's former mascot. He's a sparrow, but as I was drawing him he looked very owl-like. (If all the colours are removed he practically is an owl.) I considered a species change but I decided to give him the sparrow colour pallet and it actually worked out.
This isn't exactly the final product; I plan to add a background eventually, hence the "PNG Version."
I had to restart my computer a few times whilst working on this and afterwards my file corrupted three times. I had looked at the code and had noticed that in these files the data is all blank.
Luckily on the last time I had posted its progress so I didn't have to restart, and on the second time I had posted partial progress. The first time it actually had a different design with not as fluffy cheeks and no hat.
Concerning a name, I'm still brainstorming. The codename is "Sparing Sparrow" but this isn't final. I do intend them to have an actual name in the future, with "Sparing Sparrow" being the nickname.
About a gender, they were initially designed as male, but I thought about it and they could actually work as a female… besides the flat chest and no eyelashes. Ehh, chances are the sparrow will stay a male.
[Edit: I had posted this as an actual PNG, but the background was completely black, so I just edited it to be the white background q: ]
