A new character of mine who's been on my mind now for the past few days! I've had a great deal of fun thinking about them lately.
He's an enigmatic fellow for sure. You just keep coincidentally running into him in the oddest places! If you didn't know better, you'd swear he's following you, which would certainly be odd for someone who only seems to talk about himself.

A valid question and unfortunately, one I'm not 100% sure of the answer of! Personally, I kind of see it as part of the mystery of his very being. Perhaps whatever enables him to be a living inflatable is also what provides him with his precious xenon as well.
The way I see it, either he absorbs the trace amount of xenon right out of the air, or there's some strange mechanism within him that allows him to generate his own xenon. Beyond that, your guess is as good as mine!

Well, somehow I managed to get sucked into the prices of commodities.
Turns out (circa 2019) xenon is worth $1200/kg (vs only $52 for the same amount of helium). Which also happens to compare favourably to the price of silver bullion (currently about $500/kg).
Thus, we can conclude this squeaky boi is literally worth more than his weight in silver. Gold is still out-of-reach to make the same statement about, however.

Ah, isn't that fascinating! $1200/kg is actually a little cheaper than I was expecting, though perhaps I just completely miscalculated it. My point of reference was just a random youtube video I was watching where someone mentioned that 25 liters of xenon set them back $1300 and given that Xenon (the character) is many times larger than that, I figured his price would actually be going up over at least $10k. I also did some really rough math on it and figured that assuming he had 200L of volume, there'd be approximately 0.8kg of xenon in him, but honestly, I could very easily see my math getting messed up there so I can't say for sure.
To know that his very being is worth more than double the price of silver is incredibly entertaining though! Seeing as I was considering other elemental inflatables, it certainly gives context to some of the other ideas I had ;D

Well, the mass of a gas in a fixed volume (and temprature!) can change depending on the pressure. A 50 L canister of pure xenon pressurized to 10 atmospheres will obviously have a greater mass of xenon than an otherwise identical canister with only 1 atmosphere of pressure.
And of course, being a rubbery creature, the volume of Xenon can change as well. So with all that, I imagine his value changes depending on how inflatedhis ego he is.
