Well, its still a WIP cause it needs a little more editing and i want to re-record a couple segments, but overall im pretty happy with this arrangement...looking for advise...pelase leave some. This will be removed when the final copy is ready.

Hmm. You can carry the tune well enough, but whatever microphone or filtering you're putting your voice through is destroying your intelligibility; I can barely make out what the words are supposed to be with all the distortion, particularly when your voice starts to really clip when you put a bit more oomph into your singing. The result is that your voice is just about completely lost against the instrumentation.
The backing instruments are typical midi-mediocrity, but they are used effectively enough given their limited use.
I think your equipment is letting down what sounds to be like a voice with a *lot* of potential. I'd be investing in some better equipment, if you can afford it. I'd say you're one good microphone and one decent soundcard away from being able to really wow some folks here on FA.

yea...i currently only have my internal mic from my laptop for recording. It isnt very good, and it tends to clip when you try and do too much with it. The filter didnt help much with that either, and that one of the things im working on messing with on the edit.
I really need to get the full version of my program to be able to do a bit more midi wise. I am still pretty happy with how the midis turned out considering the limitations.
A mic is on my list of things to have when i have money again, especially because i want to upload some live performance stuff eventually. Eventually id like to just get a really nice program that can do more than Garage Band. I think i have an older version of Logic Studios stowed away at my parents house, but idk when i will be able to get out there to look for it...

lol thanks. Glad you like it. When i have $40 ill look into it...right now im attempting to find a way to be able to afford getting to and from classes for the semester and fix our almost dead plumbing...so i really dont have the funds to spare right now. Hopefully i can clean it up a bit more. I may be able to use a school computer to rerecord the vocals. The mics are a bit better there.
