18-year-old Matilda was born and raised in Manila, Philippines, where she grew up to love everything about the ocean, especially stories of those who traveled it. Ever since she was a child, she's had a pirate persona called Captain Honey that she enjoys playing as, and when she decided to join the IAWF, which she has been a fan of since she was a preteen, she brought along Captain Honey with her. Now she gets to use the persona more than ever, sharing this persona with the world and even being paid for doing so, the bee dressed up in a pirate queen outfit and putting on bold and a bit of an arrogant behavior. She's even using this career to promote her father's business known as Mr. Khan's Dockside Delights, which is a small snack shack built into an old boat and set up at a dock near her home. She long supported the snack shack in any way she can, and even contributes her own honey, which is used in some of the cakes and drinks that are made and sold there.
