Abigail feels that when people are down and out, it is up to those who can help to lend a wing and a prayer till they can move past the times of need. Some of those who she has aided in the past confide to her like one would a mother. A few might have gotten closer than that. Hard not to get attached to a welcoming flower in life's thorn bush.
