Some very heavy lore stuff in these next few pages, all on the Kanii'ah - Draken people born with an innate connection to the lifestream on the world. As you can see here, our lovely narrator Balfour is encountering the first Kanii'ah, or "Saint" as they are known in his cultural/religious background, in his lifetime. Though as we will quickly discover, the legends of Gods and Saints do not live up in the flesh of mortals.
