Assyrian Creature - Final info
I decided to start with the Assyrian Empire, one of the first civilizations known to build an large empire and developted written documents. This creature is based on the many artworks found by the Assyrian people, principally the bulls with human heads, that I envioned with more of an animal head.
The head I based mostly on the Thylacosmilus, an sabertooth marsupial that have a big jaw that really rebembers the big beards the kings was portrayed. For the body I mostly inspired by the gembsbok, that's are animals from Bovidae family.
The result is a chimera like creature ~
