Here's my first official bobble head commission for
quickxyk I learned a few things from this: that coyote colors are difficult to figure out, and tiny belts are not readily available. I ended up making the collar out of a piece of ribbon and some very carefully bent pieces of metal.
Unfortunately, when the eyes were painted pure gold he looked completely evil. With pupils in there, he has kind of a 'derp' expression. I may end up repainting them to point a single direction.

One thing that might really help with the derpy expression is centering the pupils to a direction, not just centering the pupils in each eye. The fact that the pupils face in different directions really might be the source of the derpyness (just like pugs).
If it proves too frustrating to get the pupils to face the same direction without feeling derpy, I'd suggest just put the pupils on the edge of the eye, so he's looking right or left.

I don't know if you are familiar with Qee dolls (link), but your idea of painting generic bobbleheads totally reminds me of that. Very cool.
I haven't seen those, but I have seen similar vinyl toys that are meant to be painted with other designs, like http://www.patchtogether.com/design.....gns/view/id/45
I like the concept. Thankfully, these bobble heads are a bit cheaper to buy.
