- live in murky waters like swamps, dams and some rivers
- they reproduce sexually
- to attract a mate the males produce a scented mucus that has an aphrodisiac effect
- to actually make Squeech babies the male and female wrap themselves around each other and both release a substance. It mixes in the water and is consumed by the female, who 3 weeks later lays the eggs.
- to reproduce they lay roughly 6 small eggs, and it takes a week for them to hatch
- the females are more aggressive than the males
- they release a jet of sticky ink as a defence mechanism
- in the wild they grow from the size of about a marble to roughly football size, but with certain care and diet they can grow up to the size of a shark

- live for about 35 years
- bright colours really aggravate the swamp Squeeches
- they can come out of the water when they’re fully grown, but need to stay hydrated, otherwise they dry out and die
- they eat insects and small fish

Physical Details:
Skin of the leech part is really rubbery and slippery.
Skin of the octopus part is slightly bumpy, and they have sucker things on the bottom of the tentacles.
They can change their colour to camouflage with their surroundings.
When they’re babies they have 6 eyes to see underwater, but as they mature skin grows over the extra 4 and they have 2 eyes. They can see on land, but their vision is better underwater.
