Gonna recycle a concept I had when I was REALLY REALLY REALLY little... Those two need a huge update, after all!

The Etherborn is known as Micah. He's calm and gentle, very kind.

The Voidborn is known as Sashron. He is more impulsive than his brother, and can be quite fierce. He's protective, and not afraid to burst into thunderous growls when needed.

For every creature that rises from the Void, a creature descends from the Ether. The two are counterparts with eachother, connected deeply, almost like siblings.

The light one is known as an Etherborn. They are shining and otherworldly, but general softer looking than their dark counterparts. They glow bright and can blind a person if they are not careful.

The dark one is known as a Voidborn. They are dark with glowing white eyes, sometimes seeming to have a "noise" effect to their dark body. They are often gaunt looking.

Most who enter the world craft amulets for themselves, allowing them to rein in their power and avoid doing damage to the world around them.

As a note - neither Etherborn nor Voidborn are naturally evil. They are neutral creatures, and will choose a personality of their own.
