This is my cozy blanket
And no, you can't join me under my cozy blanket. It's MINE >:T
Quick sketchy cute pic of Erebus. He hates charrcanine, but he doesn't deny that he enjoys their hides as blankets. He's a bit of a bed hog, though. :/
I'd say this is a few months after the Searing comic, after he'd escaped the sanitarium and became a more wild little necromancer. He's still a grump, and he's NOT planning to share.
It looks so snuggly though ; 3;

Well, firstly I suggest you look at other peoples' costumes for reference. These ones were pretty good: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TLjL2ev_kn4
If you look up fursuit head tutorials, you can find ways to fit them around your head. Tonberry heads are pretty simple, so plastic mesh to frame your head should work. I kind of winged it when I made my Maromi head, which is much larger than a tonberry's. I'm trying to remember how I attatched the big head to my plastic mesh mold :/ To make the round head shape I used chicken fence wire and put it in a cross shape, bending it to make a circle, then covered it first in a layer of um.. it was some kind of flattened out stuffing material, like the stuff you put in blankets. you can find the stuff at large craft stores in the stuffing section. You can get felt cheap from a cloth store and hot glue it over the head to get the green. The eyes, I'm not sure about, but I'm sure you can get really good advice from a fursuit forum :3 Hope I helped ^^;

Indeed... quite in-depth, I was just planning on a simpler conbination of a green wrapping and surgical mask for the lower half of my fave, and yellow-lensed goggles and having the hood up for the upper half...
While no doubt providing impressive results I do get the feeling the fursuit head construction method might be beyond my resources and skills...

Plastic mesh is actually very cheap, 83 cents for a sheet. It takes 3-4 sheets to make a shake for your head
The surgical mask and goggles would be interesting if you were going for a little more humanoid look, which actually might be cool if it came out right. If you stylize it enough you can make something pretty darned clever

He'd sleep on the carpet if he did XD (he finds charr fur to be just right when it comes to a plush thickness and softness, again, he'd never admit it though)
Though, when I think about, I don't think he actually has a home to put a carpet in, he's kind of a wandering hunter
He uses charr parts for various things a lot of people probably wouldn't, since charr aren't like animals. They can be brutish and simple at times, but they have a society, they have their own sets of morals, and they speak and show they have quite a bit more intelligence than they let on to others. (they consider the smaller ones like Erebus to be prey and nothing more. They refer to lower beings often time as "mouse" and "meat") So really, the concept of someone using their fur as a blanket and thinking nothing of it is sort of the equivalent of having a humanskin chair made from an enemy.
I can picture Erebus being so rude as to use a charr paw as a backscratcher XD Sometimes he even eats charr meat.
Because he dedicated himself to hunting and killing charr, he learned to adjust and live off of them.
Wow, sorry for the long post, I always like to get in depth with my characters *falls over*

Oh, I gathered that was his mindset. But since a blanket is more assuming something like a cow or horse, or utility-like creature.. whereas I figured Erebus has dislike for the charr, and the carpet would seem almost disrespectful to them, then as a blanket, which seems more .. I guess intimate, like a scarf.
Then again, I suppose he may have an opinion so low of them that he barely considers them above a utility creature. I'unno, just observing from my perspective. It is your little bundle of hateful fuzz!
