To be fair, I'm the last person to defend 'traditional' relationships. But it's clear Big Squeaker doesn't like the idea, (or doesn't like Jess). You can't force that kinda thing onto people that aren't going to like that arrangement. I'm not saying that kind of relationship can't work. I'm just saying it wont work HERE. If everyone in the relationship isn't happy, it's not a healthy relationship.
It is a fetish, for Jess. Jess doesn't have any idea what she is, so she tries to be whatever she thinks the object(s) of her current infatuation are into. This has destroyed most of her ability to discover what she really likes. Right now she's a blackboard after class, messy and covered in half-erased ideas and notes, written over by the next lesson plan, and in a bad need of being washed clean to make it more presentable.
There's nothing wrong with being any particular thing*. But forcing yourself to be what you aren't in case you miss out on what someone else has/is offering is wrong. Jess needs to calm down and stop acting. Maybe Wolfram could be good for her in that regard. He's definitely has no preconceived notions about sexuality, and she might even calm him down a little so he isn't so wound up without knowing why.
*- exceptions apply, but for polite conversation we won't bring them up.

That was honestly the reading I immediately got from this, as it seemed quite deliberate by Andrea that nowhere was it mentioned that the need for feelings or relationship had to meet any particular relationship type. The two/three comment was an obvious reference to Jessie's own admission that she had been "warm" Tor and Andrea to the idea of a three way relationship... Jessie may have been trying to be subtle but, let's be honest, that is usually not her strong suit and thus it likely has been taken as "bulldozing" by Andrea... and no, that is not a criticism of Jessie, just a statement of fact based on the probable effects of her strong and open personality on Andrea's quiet and reserved one. It is quite common for normal strong and confident personalities to be perceived as overbearing by average quiet and reserved personalities and in this case these two individuals are not the average, they are each a little bit further out on their respective ends of the scale and thus the reactions are magnified.
The last line from Andrea is a call back to the time Jessie painted her boobs and body slamming into a palette. She complained cause the left one was always bigger than the right.
It seems that Andrea has realized that Jessie's jugs are slightly mismatched. :)
This was fun to collaborate with Jan on even though we took it waaaaaay too far! :)

I think what we meant by "taking it too far" was more along the lines of making the whole rap thing. Jan had a simple, exposition script and I made some rhymes and one thing led to the other and it blew up to what you see here. This includes the last line which he just had the first part about the chaps, which didn't rhyme with anything to I suggested the second part because Jan likes to make reference to past comics. He saw the connection, liked it and ...well there ya have it.
Jan has an excellent sense of comedic timing. I'm just glad he liked my original suggestions and ran with it.

Poor Jessie. It can be quite a hit when the quiet and reserved 'squeaker' in your life lets loose with a barrage of cold hard truth. Fortunately her inherent strength will probably keep her afloat but it is obviously still a shock and a half that she never saw coming.
Andrea has obviously thought long and hard about this and probably dreamed of, but never expected to, be letting loose with this speech and there will likely be fallout in her own mind as she realises that is has actually happened. This will be on top of the other fallout that will probably happen.
The poetry side, though, was very much unexpected... obviously Mousie was a slam poet in a previous life.

Egad, get the fire extinguisher!
This is a lot to unload... Impressive that there was no alcohol involved here. Andrea has been holding that back so long. I guess she feels safe behind the glass, and the squeaktoy was the trigger?
Panels 3/4 poor Jesse's expression is priceless! =^^=

I think Tor said it best, Jessie and Wolf are two of the most unstable people out there. Perhaps together they would work but when you bring up both their names, Wolf and Jessie, neither are the model you would pick for a stable relationship. For me I don't think Wolf is interested in any type of relationship beyond a friendship for now, part of that is probably because he doesn't understand what benefits a relationship could have and only sees a relationship as a potential distraction from other, better uses of his time. He bases this most likely on seeing Jan and Amber's relationship when they were in college, sharing a dorm room. For him that relationship was more of an annoyance than anything else.
As for Jessie, she knows what she wants but isn't sure how to obtain it. I fear if she 'picks' Wolf it may be because she is so desperate to be in a relationship she is willing to take chances and settle for something less than ideal. It is a mess for sure.
