Well, I'll throw the first punch for this challenge, and its easy enough to make:
1 package chicken tenders (Average cost $ 2 - 3.00)
1 big ol' green zucchini (Average $ 2 at most)
1 big ol' yellow squash (same)
1 bag pearl onions, thawed ($ 1.50 if that)
salt and pepper
And you can also find wooden skewers at the dollar store, just make sure you soak them in water first!
Cut them all into bite sized chunks...skewer them onto the stick...and grill at 350 - 400 F until the veggies are good and browned and the meat is white, not pink. (About 20 to 25 minutes, no more.)
Take out to rest, season with salt and pepper to taste and also good with a squeeze of fresh lemon
(One lemon : .50 cents to 1.00, if that)
Well, only over 10.00 by a smidge, so there :p
Enjoy!
