Not all tombs are as empty as they seem. This one had long since been picked over by thieves and scavengers. Seemingly, there was no treasure left to plunder, until a particularly enterprising thief was able to open the seals to the inner chambers and discover the bounty of untouched wealth that still lay within. But in his greed, he neglected to consider that the seal was not made to keep thieves out, but to keep its occupant in.
Now the thief has freed a very old and very fearsome entity that was resting within. And the ancient priest and his servants once more walk the world... along with his beloved cat.
This little goblin thief is, if nothing else, probably wise enough to serve rather than rouse the ire of so powerful a being.
This is some absolutely fantastic work by
IncredibleEdibleCalico I've definitely been wanting to get something else of hers for a long time and she helped bring this to life!
For any Warhammer: Fantasy fans among you, Tarvash's design here was heavily based off of an Ushabti from the Tomb Kings faction. For they do not serve, they rule.
