This is Calusa, aka "Lucy." She is a beautiful and loving Florida panther whom I have spent much time with since her debut as a cub. She is very playful and loves interacting with her visitors. This darling was found abandoned in the Big Cypress Swamp in south Florida lethargic, thin, and with a large head laceration. She was lovingly cared for and raised by Lowry Park Zoo staff who took turns taking her home every night. She is possibly only 1 of 100 Florida panthers left in the world.
