An Alligator at the Columbus, O. zoo. From May of 2017. If you look closely, you'll see he has some fluorescent pink paint on his back. There's rather more that's msked by the camera angle here. He seems to have had a pink stripe painted on his back that's slowly wearing off. Why that is, I haven't a clue. While they all look pretty much the same to me, I'd have to assume that their keeper can tell them apart. and wouldn't need a stripe. Just a small mystery.
