Can I SATAM, or What?
(This is the part where Sally says: Or What…)
You have seen me do art that emulates the show before, so you guys already know how much I enjoy doing this type of thing. It is a perfect opportunity to go back and watch a few episodes for “reference”. I watched one, and then another… and another… then I black out. Missed lunch… dinner… work the next day…
Anyways, I am feeling this image. The simplicity of the show really bleeds through. Sonic and Sally have good interaction in the image which is hard to do with such stubby limbs.
The background is the iconic Knothole. It is shining in the moonlight and adorned with a smattering of fireflies. Good stuff.
So many good feelings just flow up to the surface when I look at this one. It’s always great to think back to you childhood and it’s even nicer to know all those hours watching SATAM back in the day are paying off.
If anyone else out there wants a commission from me be sure to make some noise so I can hear ya!
