Your coloring seems smoother with less streaks to its appearance here than from some past works, I felt that was definitely good improvement on your use of traditional mediums there. The interaction between them came out rather adorable from the expressions between them (particularly the upper canines) and the hug/lick from the one below.

I tried a whole bunch of new techniques with this piece as far as shading and coloring goes. I've started really layering the marker color on thick. I find 3 or 4 colors that work together and end up putting them all on from dark to light, starting with the dark in the places of shadow, and I find it makes it look a lot smoother.
(Also I've improved my elf deck so watch out.)

Well it definitely worked out great and I think the improvement really shows. :)
