All done, whew! It’s been a couple of years since I drew his last ref, and Marcus has changed a bit, so I decided to update him. Marcus now has fur patterns beneath his clothes, optional wings, a beer belly, and a lot more hair! I also altered his nose because the old one was bothering me a bit.

Negative:

- Conman; he is very charismatic and can sell you just about anything. He will often talk his way into, or out of, a situation (depending on what that situation might be), leaving you clueless on his motives until he decides to reveal them.
- Sleazy; speaking of charisma, he will also use this to try and woo any woman who looks his way. He’s the kinda guy everyone at the party warns you about, yet at the end of each party he attends, you are guaranteed to see him grossly making out with someone in a corner…
- Overconfident; this usually gets him into trouble, and more often than not he ends up running like the coward he is because he misjudged his own capabilities.
- Smoker; unfortunately, Marcus constantly stinks of something smokeable. Whether he smells of regular cigarettes or something worse is dependent on his mood, who he’s around and the time of day, but it’s not particularly pleasant either way. The worst thing is he doesn’t even smoke a whole lot, it just clings to him.

Positive:

- Sucker for sweets; being a poison dragon, Marcus’s saliva has a high concentration of potassium chloride. This is also a food additive that helps to enhance certain flavours, particularly sweet things in Marcus’s case.
- Poison immunity; he can sniff out poisoned food any day, and he often eats poisons to help enhance his own. If someone has had their plates poisoned, he’ll switch the plates over and eat their instead! Being immune to almost everything also means he has a particularly high tolerance to regular everyday ‘poisons’ such as spicy foods and alcohol - he’ll eat handful after handful of ghost chillis just to fuck with people.
- Good with kids; having not been raised particularly well himself, he always treats kids as nicely as he can. He carries sweets just in case a crying kid needs a pick-me-up, and has mastered stupid faces and noises just for babies… After all, he doesn’t want them to turn out like him.
- Cat-like tendencies; don’t mention they’re cat-like, he hates it! But he often grooms, lays, stretches, yawns, and plays like a cat. Scratch him under the chin and he’ll just flop on the floor! If adequately teased, he will also chase a laser pointer, but only if you get him really worked up - otherwise, you’ll just get a slap. He purrs when happy, particularly when drinking warm milk and honey.
