♦☺>The Artwork
Title: Swing Away
or (Merril)
or (Phoenix)
or (Ups, looks like Joaquin Phoenix)
or (I just wanted to paint something fast)
Type: Daily Painting
From the "I wanna comeback, and never give up" series
Duration: about 4 to 5 hours.
♦☺>Story
well,
i dunno
umm.....
wanted to try to do something today, this is what i came up with.
i want to go back to paint more often
haven't stop, but got stuck in never ending paintings.
must find a way to paint faster, and better,
and avoid to burn myself on the way.
♦☺>Status Report
Smooth like a river rock.
♦☺>Inspiration Sources
watching this guy face, that reminded me to Joaquin Phoenix,
and then ended up looking pictures of him.
and then remembered the movie Signs,
the moment when Merrill sees the alien holding his nephew on its hands.
-
"Tell him, see, tell him to see, and tell Merril to swing away."
♦☺>about the technique
Minimizing strokes to their minimal,
trying only the essential come through.
♦☺>Gripe
I always look at my paintings, and tend to think they are a disaster,
a complete failure, try so much to fix them,
really want to do that with this one, spend an eternity in making it perfect
but I know, if i dont upload it right now, i never will,
because perfection is unreachable,
but in trying to reach perfection, you can try to achieve excellence.
I must learn to let this feeling fade away.
