In a world of continued conflict, some serious, some questionable, 3 Operating Systems engage in battle, locked in digital combat. In a world where people live suffering whilst others prosper, where people can die for the most stupid of reasons we have conflicts such as this: pointless conflicts in the grand scheme of things.
Here the 3 bitter rivals blend together, not without bugs and the integration is far from seamless, but...for one shining movement this flows forth, a symbol of harmony, of peace, of unity; just a small glimpse at a more ideal world that could so easily be obtained...
Okay so all the above was (unfortunately) a load of rubbish and I've actually been experimenting with my desktop as of late. Already using an OS X theme I decided to see how difficult it would be to recreate Windows 7 on linux and how good it would look. After a while I tried integrating my previous Mac theme/settings with those of my win7 setup. Along the way I decided that I would need a good wallpaper for this unison so I quickly got an edit of the OS X wallpaper I made at 1024x768 for my GRUB2 bootscreen (hence low resolution), tweaked it further and voila!
If you view it in full size or stretched (e.g. your resolution is 1366x768 and you set this as wallpaper with fill screen option) you can see quite a few flaws but I'm surprised at how well this blended together.
