This one is actually going to be finished at some point -- all it needs is a background, and maybe the tail needs to be brought down. It was hell to work on, and now I'm scared to death I'm going to chicken out on the background. I've never done a proper background before.

Blue jays are one of my favourite birds, but boy, two or three hours into this I was sorry I'd picked a species with such patterned wings. Oy.
