I doubt she's trying to showcase his photo as 'photographic art' - just showing the cuteness of her pet o.0 And have you any idea how fast foxes move about? They don't pose - to capture this moment took a lot of skill/luck.
I'd like to see anyone try produce this with a 'more defined focas', which I assume would mean an expensive camera and several moments 'setting up'.

i wasnt asking for a pose, in fact i wasnt even trying to troll, " cry some more" is from Team fortress 2 its a saying that one of the chars in it has, i was being really light, if i came across as a cross mofo i wasnt trying to. and the fox is cute as hell to me, and i do know how fast a fox is, i see them all the time in a fleeting glance and before i can even point my cam they are gone, i wasnt asking for a posed shot, thats like asking a painted wall to change its color and talk to you, its not going to happen. and to the OP im sorry for what came across as a troll message, my point was not to troll you, or to "reopen" a wound that wasnt there. i understand that you were posted this for a select few people, And i understand that, if you were to go to my photos and say something about them i would accept the critisim and attemp to apply them to the next photo i did. if you would like to know where the noise came from. its from useing an ISO 800 with a slightly lower light situation creating the "noise" but if you were to turn your ISO down then your shutter would upen for to long and you would end up with motion blur. I run into that all the time in low light situations. And i dont claim to be a professinal, i just a regular joe blow with a fancy cam and a little know how of photos. I was offering advice and trying to be slightly funny at the same time. I am sorry, I will make sure next time i post to not be so out right with my comment.
I might actually believe this, if you had actually offered any real advice in your initial post.
Instead, it was an inflammatory all-caps statement (from a video game or not, it was obviously instigative) followed by thinly-veiled insults. Saying, in essence, "Actually edit your photos with a real program, and learn to focus your camera" is not constructive criticism, particularly when applied to an in-focus image where the lighting was good.
If you genuinely want to apologize, I'll accept it, but please don't insult my intelligence by claiming that you weren't trolling.

lol, you seriously think that a critique of my photography skills is what I classified as "unpleasantness"? Two commenters got into a nasty little bitchfest that I didn't feel like having immortalized under the picture. I just wanted to give the dozen or so watchers who had already fav'd it the reason it got taken down and put back up like that.
As for editing the photo, it was cropped, had some contrast issues fixed, and had the black border put on it in Photoshop before I uploaded it. So yes, a little bit of work did go into the snapshot before I uploaded it.
And seriously? It's a picture of my pet standing in my kitchen, not an piece of portfolio art. Lighten up a bit.

as far as I can tell the fox is centrally focused and done pretty much perfectly.... are you upset cause he looks fuzzy? because that's most likely due to the fact that a lot of fox's have frazzled front fur.... if you look at his midriff/back legs which are still in the same focus bracket you can see the smother texture o_0
By the way.... wonderful manners to reopen a wound after the artist actually resubmitted the work to avoid a dispute/emotional posting..... that takes the kind of class we only see on message boards.... kudos.

Whats with all the flaming you're getting. I don't see anything to flame about. The fox is adorable. Lighting's good and it's clear enough to use for a reference to a drawing.. I like his smile myself and peeked in for the thought of a fox anthro.
I'm sorry for the trolling you're getting. People should take it as it is.. sharing your sweetheart of a fox. Where do you live to have a fox as a pet?? I'm jealous. Or is he a rehabilitation?
