Battle over the Siberian Skies [Personal/Experimentations]
So, after several games of Ace Combat (and some anime and other video game songs of inspirations), I wanted to do some sort of experiment with some things. Blurring and coloring the lines and what not. Not bad... But could've been better. Oh well... Least it's something I learned. And let's see if I can wing this one shot story.... Oh god, it's going to suck... XD
Several hundred miles over broken cloudy Siberian land, and closing to a Siberian military base, two elite squadrons, Phoenix and Phantom lead an aerial assault of other squadrons as the Siberians soon get wind of an attack and dispatches their fighters to intercept. As Phoenix and Phantom Squadron leads the assault, another group, compromised of three Revenant Class Aerial Cruisers are in position while their troops are waiting for the first assault team to eliminate their best squadrons. The first squadron that took off from the base armed with anti ship weaponry to engage the three airships. The second squadron, comprised of two JSF-30s, F/A-42 and two F-4 MK II Kais, were now in the air ten minutes later while a third squadron were coming out of a hangar's elevator and a couple AA tanks were rolling out.
"Phoenix leader to all squadrons, leave this squadron to us." Captain Carter Exaviers. Special Task Force Excalibur's best squadron hails out to them as other pilots acknowledged leading the head on charge as they are now closer to the base. A smirk of the thrill of a fight creeps across his muzzle as they get into attack formation as they soon meet head to head with the intercepting squadron while the second intercepting squadron is already engaging the cruisers and their escort fighters. With one of his squad mates in the MRF-16 Asteroid, now in lock with one of the kai fighters and takes the shot, firing two missiles as it speeds to its target. Moments later, it slams to the kai fighter and explodes in a mix of orange and yellow as shrapnel plummeting to the grounds below. The defending fighters fired back as another Phoenix fighter returns the next shot...
Well, thoughts about how to improve this method in my future art (If I plan to do that again)? ^^; Please comment below.
