To celebrate the launch of Final Fantasy XIV: Shadowbringers, I decided to draw a sexy Au Ra hunk in the style of Persona 5 artwork. There's a tradition on the FFXIV reddit that maintenance days should feature art of Au Ra characters for fun, and this seemed like the perfect opportunity to do a graphically-intensive piece for the community. It was quite a challenge to figure out how to lay down the lights, midtones, and shadows while keeping the overall look cohesive. I would certainly consider taking commissions in this style in the future when I open them.
