Wait wait wait...defusing? The ambassador has a lot to explain.

Nope. the idiots in security have a lot to explain. He's got a secure transport case, with a self-destruct charge in case it's compromised. He's an AMBASSADOR. They shouldn't even have uncuffed it from him, let alone started fiddling with it.

Ohhh that explains it.

Someone is about to have a very bad day... at least it may take the Ambassador's attention away from our two hapless quacks.

Mmmmm... in no way can they really be called quacks. Both are competent doctors working at a top ranked hospital. Tamrood in particular goes on to work directly for the emperor of their entire species.

Both are (understandably) nervous at the moment since y’vakkkon are my headworlds equivalent of predator/yautja with a disposition to match.

No worries, I just have a habit of calling 'em all quacks regardless... even the specialist who did a pretty good job of rebuilding my shoulder last year got called Mr Quack. He initially gave me an odd look or two but came to realise it was just my way of dealing with the fact that I have had to deal with the medical profession far more than I'd prefer... the joys of a good set of hereditary issues and some entertaining 'experiences'.

Considering the fact that nobody seems keen on interacting the the Ambassador's race I think these two have done about as well as could be expected and nobody has died... yet.
