This is one of the Caribbean Flamingos at the San Diego Zoo. The coolest things about these birds are the way they fly, their life expectancy (40 years) and their call, which is a loud deep honking. I actually got a close up of this guy as he was honking, but it wasn't as well composed as this one, and I like the water you can see dripping from his beak.
The Caribbean Flamingo is found in the Caribbean, Sorthern South America, Yucatán Peninsula of Mexico and the Galapagos Islands, and is classified as Least Concern by the IUCN.
