This is a Red-billed Teal at the San Diego Zoo. We arrived early in the morning before many animals became active, and then by the time I got around with the good camera, some of the larger mammals were taking their mid-day naps.

Anyways! The Red-billed Teal is a type of duck found in Madagascar, East and Southern Africa, and is classified as "Least Concern" by the IUCN.
