If you look through my gallery, you can see that I rarely post a photo of an entire vehicle. In fact, I rarely even take a photo of an entire vehicle. I made an exception in the case of this 1947 Crosley Round-side Pickup. You’ve got to see the whole thing to appreciate its size.
There are a few details worth noting: The opened louver that you see on the front fender is a vent to bring fresh air into the cab. A matching vent is positioned on the driver’s side. There is a single wiper on the driver’s side of the split windshield. A wiper for the passenger side was an optional feature. Similarly, this truck was equipped with a single tail light. A second, bolt-on tail light was an option. The tail light was not very bright which led the original owner (the current owner’s father) to attach the light bar that you see on top at the rear of the cab.

I appreciate that you used the Wayback Machine to find this older photo in my gallery. It's been a while since I've seen it.
Thanks also for your comments. I didn't know that about Crosley making generator engines. I learn something new every day from my furry friends.
