This art probably looks a bit different from the rest of my art, which is because I just finished this picture a couple days ago! Whereas for the rest of my gallery so far was drawn about a year ago and I've been back-updating my FA gallery here. Anyhow, enjoy :D

This is a commission for Drache-Lehre, a wonderful lady who has known me for over 10 years!
This character was really fun to draw, what with the gorgeous markings. I definitely appreciated getting the chance to draw a canine/feline-like creature and take a break from all those dragons! ;)

She was described to sort of the guardian creature of a desert noble family, with the strength and height lending her to be ridden as a steed if necessarily, but the gentle touch needed to comfort the royal children. On times where she is not accompanying the royal family, she loves to bask and lounge in the sun like a large cat, as well as collecting shinies where she may spot them.
