This is almost like a remake of the first drawing I made of Scooter. The first drawing had a lot shakier lines, and not as prominent features such as the three points on the head or the more curved beak.
This time I actually used the four-pointed star tools to make the stars instead of adding them on with online-image-editor; I actually think it looks a bit better that way. I also made a more diagonal gradient that ranges from lavender to pink, as apposed to the up-down gradient featuring pink and cyan.
This is also the second time I've added highlights to my picture. I sort of want to do that more often, but I'm more nervous than anything since I just don't know where the most appropriate parts to place them are. I know the bare basics, but it't still a bit confusing at times. Also things like folds in clothing seem difficult, and hopefully I'll get the hang of it eventually.
