Well it is the proper time of year for them to be out and about.
I have these lil guys all over my house in spring and summer.
Kind of my own doing too.
I have some moist warm soil kept in my garage I prefer haveing these guys around instead of bugs <3

Anyway, you think you finding a smol in your yard was interesting? Try seeing a massive moth almost the size of your FUCKING HEAD ON YOUR WINDOW SCREEN IN THE MIDDLE OF THE FUCKING NIGHT WHILE GETTING A DRINK OF WATER!

Seriously. I actually saw said moth over a decade ago back when I lived in Nebraska. After I calmed down, I couldn't help but wonder "Did Mothra breed with Mighty Mouse?".
