In my opinion, Taily's train of thought is still stuck in the station.
The cockatiel with the red headfeathers is one of my friends from school who requested to be in the comic. Then we had to decide what animal she would be, and we decided on cockatiel. In real life she used to dye her hair bright, unnatural red, so we made the headfeathers red as a fond homage to those days.
