One of my favourites of yours lately!
This might be a weird comment, but I don't think I've ever noticed any other artist deliberately adding faux chromatic aberration. If you were trying to make this look like it was taken with a cheap or old camera lens, you pretty much nailed it. It has soft (not just out of focus) edges, and the tip of her tail has purple fringing, which you get with many older lenses (and some new ones) especially with edges of objects against contrasty backgrounds. Ironic, because of course photographers try to get rid of this!

thank you! :D And yeah, that was pretty much my target! Old lens weren't made through precise technologies as today so this kind of effect was mooore frequent! The more the object goes towards the center of the lens, the more it's clear and the more it goes towards the edges, the more it has this chromatic aberration effect! :D
Very glad you noticed it! ^^

I'm just impressed you did it on purpose and knew what you were doing. Actually you can notice a lot of 'photographic' effects which are really imperfections, which people deliberately put into CG and digital art. Rack focus, when there's no need for it, because you have infinite depth of field. Lens flare is one you see all the time. Digital allows you do do away with the distortions of physical camera gear, but it's almost like people find the world seems more natural through a camera lens. In a similar vein, Fuji cameras have pre-sets which are supposed to simulate classic types of Fuji 35mm film. Ironically it's these advanced digital technologies that let you simulate analog.
